Kesha is an advocate for children who are exceptional, and an advocate for literacy. In addition to being and author, and the Founder of THE D.A.Z.E.Y. PROJECT, Kesha is also the Founder of Project Dazey, where she has developed an Educational Writing Program for Elementary and Middle School aged children. Where Kids Imagination Comes to Life on Paper.
She is very involved in her community, she partnered with Elementary Schools, The County Libraries and The YMCA in Metro Atlanta to bring her love for writing to the school system and community, through what she calls her power tools, a pen and notepad.
Kesha will tell you that her greatest inspiration comes from her niece and nephew. Being Aunt Dazey to them is the greatest reward that God could have blessed her with. They truly changed her life and because of them, she strives to be the best that she can be. From the time they could talk, she would say to them, “Twins, what are we here to do? They would reply; “Aunt Dazey, we are here to change the world by making it better.”
When she is not advocating for a better education for families in her community, Kesha likes to enjoy nature, the museum, live jazz and eating a gluten free donut or two.
